About Donut Delight in London
Our story began in 2019 when two friends, Sophia and James, combined their passion for traditional British baking with modern European trends. Opening our first coffee shop in the authentic Shoreditch area, we quickly grew from a small establishment to one of London’s most popular sweet shops. Our philosophy is simple: to combine Victorian recipes with innovative flavours, using only local and organic ingredients.

All our desserts are made daily using organic flour from Norfolk, fresh eggs from free-range hens from Kent farms and local seasonal fruit. Our unique approach includes signature recipes developed by our Head Pastry Chef, Sofia - a graduate of the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu - that combine classic techniques with modern flavour combinations. We also pride ourselves on our environmental responsibility, using biodegradable packaging and maintaining a zero food waste policy.

Our commitment to quality has been recognised with numerous professional awards, including the Great British Food Awards 2022 for Best Pastry and the London Coffee Shop Awards 2023 for Best Dessert Menu. We also won a gold medal at the UK Artisan Bakery Competition for our signature Victorian Rose doughnut.
